Measures to support accessibility​
Pick Up the Paws takes the following measures to ensure accessibility of Pick Up the Paws:
Include accessibility as part of our mission statement.
Include accessibility throughout our internal policies.
Integrate accessibility into our procurement practices.
Assign clear accessibility goals and responsibilities.
Employ formal accessibility quality assurance methods.
 
Conformance status
​The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) defines requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. It defines three levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA. Pick Up the Paws is partially conformant with WCAG 2.2 level AA. Partially conformant means that some parts of the content do not fully conform to the accessibility standard.

 

We at Pick Up the Paws are working to make our site www.pickupthepaws.co.uk accessible to people with disabilities.

An accessible site allows visitors with disabilities to browse the site with the same or a similar level of ease and enjoyment as other visitors. This can be achieved with the capabilities of the system on which the site is operating, and through assistive technologies.

 

Accessibility adjustments on this site

We have adapted this site in accordance with WCAG [2.0 / 2.1 / 2.2 - select relevant option] guidelines, and have made the site accessible to the level of [A / AA / AAA - select relevant option].
